Silver Infusion: Proactive Back to School Health

The first few weeks back at school are when everything gets shared — desks, pencils, water fountains, lunch tables. Most parents deal with that reactively: something turns up, and then you go looking for what helps. The alternative is to have a simple routine already in place before term starts.

That is where the questions about silver usually begin, and where a lot of the confusion begins too. Here is what silver supplements actually are, how ours differs from what you have probably seen on a shelf, and how families tend to use it.

Chelated silver oxide is not colloidal silver

Most silver products sold as supplements are colloidal silver — microscopic particles of silver suspended in liquid. Our Silver Infusion is built on a patented chelated silver oxide complex instead.

Chelation means each silver ion is bound within a larger molecule. In practice that does two things: it makes the formula more stable, and it improves bioavailability and biocompatibility — how readily the body can take up and tolerate what is in the bottle. It also means the product is stable at room temperature and does not need refrigeration.

What 150 PPM actually means

PPM stands for parts per million, and it is simply how concentrated the silver is. Silver Infusion is formulated at 150 PPM, roughly fifteen times the concentration of most colloidal silver products currently on the market.

Higher concentration is not automatically better in every context, but it does mean you need far less product to get the same amount of silver. That is worth knowing when you are comparing labels and the price per bottle looks different from the price per use.

The whole ingredient list

This is the entire formula:

  • Chelated silver oxide complex, at 150 PPM
  • Kosher USP grade vegetable glycerine
  • Distilled water

That is the list. No preservatives, no flavourings, no synthetic additives. It reflects the same standard we apply to everything we make — if an ingredient is not safe to ingest, we do not think it belongs in or on your body. A short label is easy to check, which matters when you are the one deciding what your family uses.

How families use it during the school year

The 2 oz glass spray is the format most parents reach for once term starts, because it fits in a bag and can be used topically or internally as needed. The suggested use is one to fifty sprays per day for adults and children, so it scales to whatever the situation calls for.

The 16 fl oz bottle is the same formula in a size that makes more sense for a household using it regularly through the autumn and winter.

A word on expectations: this is a dietary supplement, not a treatment for anything. It sits alongside the ordinary things — sleep, handwashing, food — rather than replacing any of them.

Where it fits with the rest of the routine

Silver Infusion is one part of what we put together for the school year. Nutrasporin covers the scrapes that come with playgrounds and sports practice. ODORBlock deodorant and breath spray handle the part of growing up nobody warns you about. ITCHBlock deals with bites and irritation.

All of them are built to the same standard: food-grade ingredients, nothing you cannot pronounce, made in the USA.

FAQ

How is chelated silver oxide different from colloidal silver? Colloidal silver is silver particles suspended in liquid. Chelated silver oxide binds the silver within a larger molecule, which improves stability and bioavailability. They are different preparations, and the concentration and ingredient list are the things worth comparing on any label.

Does it need to be refrigerated? No. Silver Infusion is stable at room temperature, which is part of why the spray works well in a school bag.

Can children use it? The suggested use covers adults and children at one to fifty sprays per day. As with any supplement, talk to your doctor first if your child has a medical condition or is taking other medication.

What is in it? Chelated silver oxide complex at 150 PPM, Kosher USP grade vegetable glycerine, and distilled water. Nothing else.

If you are putting together a routine before term starts, the Back to School collection has everything in one place.
